Natural Treatment for My Son’s Ear Infections

My son is two years old. He has been seeing the Richmond VA chiropractor for ear infections. The first question many people ask is why is your two year old child seeing a chiropractor? I thought the same thing. The ear nose and throat doctor told me that my son would have to get tubes in the ears, because he kept getting ear infections. A friend of mine told me that her daughter went through the same thing. She took her daughter to the chiropractor and the ear infections went away. I decided to take my son in for a visit to see if treatment could help. The chiropractor explained to me that treatment would help drain fluid that builds up around the ears and creates ear infections. I was thinking this sounds way to simple, the other doctor is recommending a surgery. My son received his first treatment, and there was a little improvement. He has now had five treatments and there have been no ear infections. The ear nose and throat doctor checked his ears, and said it is highly unusual for the ears to just clear up without tubes. My son is now receiving treatments once a month to prevent any more infections.

I have never really been big on recycling, mostly due to the idea that I had to go full out with trying to go green or it wouldn’t make a difference. I recently watched a video on the receding water on the Columbia River and it made me realize that every little thing I could do would make some difference. With a change in attitude, I started to implement this tips on going green:

Reducing Water Consumption

By reducing the amount of water that I use on my front lawn as well as limiting how much water my family uses to bath and shower, we are saving money on less water usage as well as not depleting this natural resource.

Reduce Electricity Usage

Just like water, electricity often gets used more frequently than it ought to. I have started to use my dishwasher and washing machine during the low usage times in our community as well as buying energy efficient appliances.

Thank goodness I found my current Chiropractor Dr. Jarrett. He literally saved my life! I was so bummed out with my last doctor and I went to find a second opinion and I found it! Dr. J gave me new life. He gave me new hope. You know I often wondered if doctors cared…now I know that the good ones DO!! He works at Living Wellness Chiropractic near Loyola College! It is so convenient for me because I work right on Charles Street!

As I sit here I can honestly say I have made such huge improvement! I am able to sit comfortably I can stand comfortably and I know I have changed my posture…I have PROOF!! I have the beginning x-rays and then mid x-rays and then the end x-rays..I totally change things for the better!
